Overview
With the current rise of Co-vid 19, schools and businesses have been forced to undergo a remote structure to maintain health standards. During the pandemic, immunocompromised individuals have been taking the hard end of the stick having to be more cautious than the average person. This has caused many establishments to request temperature checks and CoVid 19 testing.
Challenge
Our team must find a way to verify body temperature directly. The goal is to create an app that allows a safe and effective way to take your temperature, share that information electronically to work or school, and, create a log for past records.

Brainstorm Session
The team and I took 20 mins to write down as many “How Might We” statements as possible individually. Afterward, we voted on which one we thought we’re a priority and combined them all into the “Top HMW” list.
User Flow
After retrieving information from the brainstorm, I was able to come up with a basic User Flow.
Wireframing
After we agreed on this flow we decided to design our own wireframes separately. At the end we collectively reviewed each person's design. We discussed what we liked, didn’t like, and explained why. We ultimately ended up placing green dots over the design we thought we’e worth exploring.
Prototype
OUTCOMES
Wins
A/B Test was successful - All 10 participants were able to maneuver throughout the entire prototype swiftly
Users stated it’s calming and easy to use
Everyone said they would download it and or purchase it
The log history was pointed out as an "essential feature"
Key Takeaways
Minor inconsistency with standardized styles and animation
Would have created a specific role for one designer to make sure there were no discrepancies within the user flow
If I had more time, I would have made the design system more detailed
